Ear Plugs

This is a motorcycle, why would you need music??? The only thing needed for your ears are ear plugs. Over time, wind noise will cause permanent damage to your hearing. Make sure you go out and buy some ear plugs to protect your hearing. Because once your hearing is damaged, you can't get it back. I always wear ear plugs when riding for a long period of time (like over an hour), or if I'll be going on a highway where the speed limit is 100 km/h (60 mph). At these speeds wind noise is extremely loud, even with a full face helmet! And putting in a pair of headphones does not eliminate wind noise. If it's louder than the wind noise it's merely masking it. Plus it's dangerous when you are not able to hear what's going on around you. Having ear plugs in does not eliminate all noises. You can still hear a horn, sirens and even your own engine. It simply helps to reduce, or almost eliminate, the deafening problem of wind noise. Don't ride without them!
